Shiga-toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC)
Salmonella spp.
Aspergillus fumigatus
Aspergillu flavus
Aspergillus niger
Aspergillus terreus

Presence or absence of organisms are detected via real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in various sample matrices.

MInimum Sample Size Requirements:
3 grams, 3 units or 3 mL

Collection Container Requirements:
Sterile and spill proof container such as a screw top vial or test tube. Sample shall be collected observing good aseptic techniques.

Turn Around Time:
7 business days from receipt of sample
